Dr Shawn Tan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2019 and was consistently placed in the Dean’s list every year from 2016 to 2019.  He was awarded a total of 14 book prizes and medals for being the top student in multiple subjects, one of which includes the Dr F.A.C. Oehlers Medal for being the best clinical student.

Prior to Neo Smiles, Dr Shawn practiced in government service as a dental officer, having spent time rotating in various places like Hougang Polyclinic, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, National Dental Centre and Health Promotion Board.

Dr Shawn strives to constantly upgrade his skill set by going for courses and doing self-learning, so as to treat every patient to the best of his knowledge and ability.

Outside of work, Dr Shawn likes to relax at home and spend time with his loved ones.
