Dr Jason Chua – Specialist in Orthodontics

Dr Jason Chua is an accredited Braces Specialist and Orthodontist on the Ministry of Health (MOH) specialist register. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2012, he has worked at various public institutions such as the National Dental Centre of Singapore (NDCS) National University Hospital (NUH) and the National Healthcare Group Polyclinic (NHGP).

Blessed with a training sponsorship from NDCS, he embarked on his 3-years full-time training in Orthodontics in NUS from 2014 to obtain his Master of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) and Diploma of Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (M Orth RCSE).

Dr Chua is also an accredited Invisalign provider and was awarded the 2015 Invisalign research grant. His Invisalign research won him the Meritorious Award at the 2017 Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) Congress Scientific Poster Competition. He has also shared his research findings with the International Community at the European Orthodontic Society Congress in Edinburgh and France.

Dr Chua’s clinical expertise includes conventional and self-ligating braces treatment, braces for orthognathic surgery, growth modification and interceptive treatment for children and Invisalign treatment.

To unwind, Dr Chua enjoys playing badminton, jogging and spending time with his family. Being a father himself, Dr Chua knows that every child is precious and hopes to provide the best smile for every patient from a young age. As an Orthodontist, he strives to make the world a better place by creating more beautiful smiles and bringing laughter to his patients with his developing humour.
